A table is reserved for lunch at the Ship and Trades for 13.30hrs and
there is also a table arranged for those of us staying overnight at
Villagio italian restaurant at 20.15hrs.

We think, as some will not be drinking on the day, it might be best to
share the food cost at lunch but purchase drinks separately.

Pete will be at the Ship and Trades for 13.00hrs to meet and greet and
I’ll probably be able to make it too, as my college assessment date
has now been moved yet again!

This year the East Coast Spring Rally will take place at Chatham Maritime Marina, Leviathan Way, Chatham ME4 4LP

Owing to a complication for Alison we have had to replan a little, but we think that many might find the new schedule more doable as is appears that all are arriving by car so far, and most would want to drive home later the same day.

We now plan to hold a LUNCH at the Ship & Trades at 1.30pm. Peter will be there to meet you from 12.30 onwards and Alison will catch up as soon as she can.

The plan to tour the distillery is unaffected as it will be later on at 7pm and we see this as a natural break in proceedings for those who need to head home. We will still organise a table for an evening meal for those who are planning to stay but we will change this to the very local italian restaurant which is placed about halfway en route from the marina to the Ship & Trades. We figure a change of scenery and menu would be welcomed!

The Copper Rivet Distillery tour and tasting session lasts an hour in total so we’ll plan to take a table at the italian at 8.15pm
If you would like to take the distillery tour you will need to book directly with Copper Rivet, the cost per person is £12 and you can book online at www.copperrivetdistillary.com, alternatively their phone number is 01634 931122. Presently they are only taking bookings up to the end of February but March will be added soon.

If you are planning to stay then in walking distance there is a cafe, a Co-op store, a fish and chip shop, lots of restaurants, an outlet shopping centre and a cinema, local attractions include the Historic Dockyard, Dickens World and Rochester’s Cathedral and castle.
