Frances 26 Mithril

With our Vic 30 stuck in Texas and very high transatlantic shipping costs and a mooring allocated in Torquay we decided to look for a stop gap.

Mithril (Ex Jenaka 11, Ex JJ) was advertised on this site and following survey, we bought her and had her delivered to Torquay late last year.

Following a post on the Victoria Frances Yachts Facebook page the original owner (who completed her from a bare hull and sailed her to the Caribbean and back) recognized her as his old boat Mithril. He got in touch and gave us a little of her history and posted photo's. We decided it would be best to revert to her original name.

Worked through most of the thankfully short list of survey recommendations over the Christmas period and hope to be sailing the Devon / Cornwall area over the summer.
