about the motorisations for Victoria 30
Hello,
I have a big problem with my Victoria 30 : it is fitted with a Vetus M310 engine, which is for the present out of order. I have been told that the Victoria was originally proposed with different engines in 10 to 30 HP. Have anybody any information or experience about this ? Thanks for your help.

Re: about the motorisations for Victoria 30
JeanLouis,
My (1983) V30 is fitted with it's original engine a Yanmar 2GM20F.
I read somewhere (probably in the manual or in an early write up) that the basic installation was the raw water cooled 2GM20 but all the others I have seen (unless re-engined) have been similar and have had the freshwater cooled 2GM20F.
Later Yanmar's and Beta 20Hp diesels seem popular choices for those that have been reengined.
Most F26/V26's seem to have had the Yanmar 1GM10 raw water cooled diesel when new.
I also have an F26 which was reengined witha Beta 16HP freshwater cooled diesel.

I fitted a new engine when the Yanmar was getting a bit ancient. Nanni D21 which you should get easily in France. The same Kabuto block as the Beta. Very happy with it although its a tight fit.
