BEST LOG CUP JUDGING PROCESS
At our Autumn Committee Meeting it was agreed that we should change the judging process for the award of the Best Log Cup. Hitherto the award of the Best Log Cup has been determined by a small panel of three individuals, and in some years, submissions have been from a very limited number of individuals. However, this year ten Logs, in various forms, have been submitted to the Association and all have been uploaded onto the Association Website. This will enable the full membership to participate in the judging process. This we believe will increase interest in the Association and membership participation.
Your judging should be against the usual criteria, which are: route plan, information about the passage, weather conditions, boat equipment, ports and anchorages, pictures, people interest, and humour. However, you might just prefer to nominate the most interesting and informative Log. Whatever your criteria just send me an e-mail jon.fairwinds@btinternet.com with your preferred nomination.
