Hi Colin, met you briefly in Tobermory at the start of your trip. Smashing article sounds like you had a good trip.
Quick question for you - you mention your eberspacher heating, just wondering where you fitted the unit and how you ran the ducting. Looking to install one eventually on Nanooq.

sorry we didn't get to chat in Loch Tarbert (Jura).
What a fantastic spot and a big thumbs up to Blondie for those fantastically useful transits through the rocks.
We will come over and say hello next time we see you
Thanks for a great read I really enjoyed it
All the best

Hi Jim,
Under the cockpit. I glued a marine ply rectangle on the underside of the cockpit floor, between the fuel tank and the locker, so you can get to it from inside the locker. Then bolted the Eberspacher onto that. The exhaust exits on the starboard quarter and the heating duct comes out at floor level just to port of the companionway. I didn't try to route it into the forecabin, to complicated and not worth the bother for a small space. I wouldn't be without it now, its so cosy!

Yes do. I was going to pop over in the dinghy next morning to say hello, but by the time I got it pumped up you were off! I enjoyed reading your log too.

Thanks Colin, that was where I had thought of going with it. Likewise for the ducting, having previously fitted one on a Twister and ran it forward, the loss was greater than the gain!
Hopefully catch up with you some other time.
Jim
