Our first Rally on the South Coast this year is going to be held over the weekend of 12th-14th May. The plan is for everyone to meet up in Gosport Marina (Premier Marinas) on Friday 12th. We will then be all together for a cruise in company down through the Solent on Saturday aiming to get to Yarmouth in the late afternoon where we will meet up for a pontoon party followed by a meal ashore. I have booked alongside visitors moorings in Yarmouth for one night.
Times of HW (Portsmouth) for the weekend are:
Friday 12th 1326 Ht 4.5m
Saturday 13th 1404 Ht 4.5m
Sunday 14th 1436 Ht 4.4m
On Saturday the tide outside Portsmouth will be slack at HW-2 ( 12.04 ) and will run in our favour down to Yarmouth until HW+4 (18.04). The direct distance is 18 miles.
If you would like to join us please let me know your boat details and the number of people on board and I will send out any additional information and update the marinas and meal venue of our numbers. If you would like to join us without a boat, again please advise me of numbers.
