South Coast Spring Social

The South Coast Spring Social will as usual take place at the Sarisbury Green Community Centre (SO31 7AA) close to the River Hamble, on Sunday 24th February 2013, starting at about noon.  The Social will be preceded by a Victoria Shadow Association Committee Meeting.

The format for the day will be:

11:00        Committee Meeting

12:00        Members and their guests gather in the bar

13:00        Lunch in the main hall

14:00        Association raffle and prize draw

14:30        An illustrated presentation on their Mediterranean Cruising by Simon and Joanna Bound   

16:00        Members and their guests disperse

Lunch will be on a self help basis, and again organised by Olive Hathaway.  Please let Olive know what you intend to bring to ensure that we have our usual excellent spread.  Olive’s contacts are olive@pylewell.net or 01489 878768.

The Raffle will again be organised by John Cade and members are invited to bring a prize, usually in the hope that they will not win it back themselves, and purchase raffle tickets, which helps off-set the limited costs of the event.

All offers from members to volunteer to serve on the Association Committee will be gratefully received (check the website for vacancies).  The amount of time and effort that a member is asked to provide is determined by the volunteering member and as physical attendance at the Committee Meetings is not essential the task can be undertaken from anywhere, and wherever you call home.
